Bruce Lucia, President of the Atlanta Division of Kroger Company commissioned nine students from Ashford Park Elementary School to create an artwork to the theme of “This Is Me At My Best,” as part of ArtsNow’s Community in Action Initiative. Finally, the students will deliver their artwork on May 4, 2009 to the executives of Kroger Company. Each student will make a brief presentation and received recognition for their generosity of spirit and outstanding creativity in art.

Through this project the students will return $250 to purchase art supplies for their classroom teachers at Ashford Park Elementary School.
