Tom Alexander, Vice President of Trade Marketing for Cartoon Network commissioned twenty students from Huntley Hills Elementary School to create an artwork to the theme of “Animate Your World: How I Can Make It A Better Place,” as part of ArtsNow’s Community in Action Initiative. Finally, the students delivered their artwork on January 31, 2008 to the executives of Cartoon Network. Each student made a brief presentation and received recognition for their generosity of spirit and outstanding creativity in art.

Through this project the students returned $500 to purchase art supplies for their classroom teachers at Huntley Hills Elementary School.
