Results
There are many ways to talk about results no matter what field or occupation. We know the best way would be to isolate and identify the precise impact our specific work has on the specific educators and students we influence. We have learned the hard way, that it is difficult to report these type of results from working in schools given the complex nature of a school community and multi-tiered combinations of other variables that can hinder such clean data and understanding.
For us, we measure results in several ways, while still developing a customized measurement tool to determine more specific results from the direct work of our hands. We have set goals for some specific results we do plan to see in order to continue justifying schools implementing ArtsNow strategies and our request to the community for support of this work.
As you will see in this area of our website, we look for:
- a steady increase in the number of schools, teachers and children we reach,
- reports from school systems and schools of impact in the classroom and on student success (including state standardized test results, attendance, and discipline referrals),
- a recent external program evaluation to confirm the subjective information we get all the time as accurate in four case study schools, and
- up-to-date success stories, regularly occurring, in schools where educators have returned to implement ArtsNow strategies.
If you need more information, contact us directly and we will be glad to discuss the strong positive results we see each and every day as educators become more confident and capable of bringing engaging work in to the classroom.
We also welcome any of your own research and information, so send it our way!
